If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use is the rule.

Some don't even pay for their music, let alone the software...

Agreed, although there are more than just those two, and the article shouldn't have to go on for 20 pages...

and a better overall ripper and converter than EAC.
    That's a subjective opinion though.

Let's say, that it's the "subjective opinion" of those who have used both.

Actually, Illustrate makes this claim, and from their perspective it's not entirely subjective.

They did the testing and say their software is best, wonder why?

So you're saying Microsoft's claim that Windows is better falls on deaf ears, in your case? ;-)
A Touch + Cambridge DAC Magic has replaced my venerable SB3. May it rest in peace.

The article says "Sonos and Slim Devices both use very good analog-to-digital converters in their products, which means you can connect their analog outputs to a high-quality self-amplified speaker system and get great results."

    Surely they mean digital-to-analog convertors??

Other than that, its a pretty good article IMHO....

Actually I made that claim. They own the accurate rip system and I feel dbpoweramp is by far the better of the two. Eac is very good though and if you don't want to pay for dbpoweramp then EAC is the way to go. I've used both quite a bit and that is my opinion.
