    SqueezeNetwork blocking some IP's???

    I am a ~2yr SB3 owner.
Neither my computer (squeezenetwork.com) or my SB3 can connect to SN.
This started about 1-month ago. Everything else is reachable/works fine.
I can ping SN fine (squeezenetwork.com). My Linksys router (home network
    setup-all hardwired)can ping SN fine. I can reach/view slimdevices.com fine.

When I put in squeezenetwork.com into my browser window, the little
status msg on the bottom flashes by "looking up squeezenetwork.com"
and then stalls/times-out on "connecting to squeezenetwork.com...".
So this seems to me to show that it is not some DNS issue and I am getting
    to squeezenetwork.com

    ?????????

I can provide any/all other info that may be needed on my end...

Sure would like to get my SB3 back online via SN
    TIA

    Who is your ISP?

Try www.squeezenetwork.com instead of squeezenetwork.com. Tell me
what the following commands show you:

    nslookup www.squeezenetwork.com
    ping www.squeezenetwork.com
    tracert www.squeezenetwork.com

Do you have multiple DNS servers configured? You may want to make
sure they are all correct and working.

I have added/re-ordered etc... DNS on the router/computer/SB3
as well as left all blank/auto all with no effect. Everything
    reachable except SN.

If I can ping, trace etc... to SN then how can it be a DNS issue?

Agreed about making sure all DNS servers are working though...

Yeah I don't know, it should work. Can you telnet to
    www.squeezenetwork port 80?

    Command prompt: telnet www.squeezenetwork.com 80

If it works you should get a blank screen. If it fails, you should
see the text "Connecting to www.squeezenetwork.com..." followed by an
    error after a little bit.

    It fails:

    Try port 9000, http://www.squeezenetwork.com:9000

Try another computer. Maybe there is a firewall involved?

telnet to port 9000 fails instantly

trying all the same on different computer has identical results/symptoms...
It is my Linksys router and I have never put in any filtering etc...
I have checked it today and it is clean of an filtering/blocking

I also got ride of an old/bad DNS server entry so that there are no fails
before going to alt dns server-lookups are instantaneous now, but has
had no chg on connection to www.squeezenetwork.com
Pings/tracerts still successful but telnet, http, SB3 all still fail
