At least Radio 3's non-uk stream seems to be fine this weekend.

Just checked it in foobar. This URL is indeed a WMA feed at 192kb/s, but I note I can only access it via VPN in Cyprus. Without the VPN foobar reports an error.

The same url is entered in my mysqueezebox.com favourites and it plays.

The Squeezebox is not working via VPN. Where is my mysqueezbox.com server?

STOP PRESS: I was using the WMA feeds. I've now switched to using the AAC feeds and it now works OK.

Whilst I had the WMA option selected I tried the other live feeds to see if they were all OK. They were, apart from Radio 3HD which spent 30 seconds trying to connect and then caused my Radio to reboot. When the Radio came back Radio 3HD started to play automatically.

Many Radio 4Extra listen again feeds are unlistenable, but that seems to be down to (yet) another BBC cockup. I hope they sort it out before Torchwood disappears from the listings.

Like MC I unchecked the wma feed and ensured aac was checked and got all choices on iplayer - (no connection to 4extra listen again or listen live with wma checked, see log posted earlier). Updated to iplayer .16 and checked wma feed, iplayer okay on 4extra listen again but will not play listen live. Uncheck wma and i get all programmes live & listen again. with wma checked does not default to other streams on 4extra live. Message 'cannot connect to server'

In Germany - my guess is BBC saw mysb.com as outside UK and suppliedplayer with a non UK url but when it came to actually play your player appears to BBC as inside UK and so non UK url doesn't work.

Question Programme skips back to start

I've just upgraded to latest version of the iPlayer plugin and on two occasions whilst listening to a programme the stream has skipped back to the beginning. [not whilst listening live obviously]

Before I get into tracking log entries and other diagnostics - has anyone else experienced this?

As usual I suspect the BBC end - but any clues/advice gratefully received.

I've been experiencing this occasionally too on listen again streams.

I've assumed it's a feed problem but if there's a way round it I'd be interested!

    Weird Artwork Problem

I have a strange issue when using the iPlayer plugin on my new SB-Radio:
If I navigate through the menus to 'Listen Live' and select a station (eg Radio 4 or 6 Music) then I get the sound, artwork and text feed and everything works like a charm. However, if I assign the station to one of the six silver shortcut keys and play using those then I get the sound but no artwork and no text. The artwork doesn't bother me too much but I really miss the text stream. There's a thread on the radio forum about missing artwork but this seems to apply to Internet radio in general and only when streaming via mysb.com (I'm using a local SBS server). I can't understand why two methods of accessing the same stream can have different results. Has anyone else got this problem? Does anyone know of a fix?

    Problem with flash MP3 streams

I have noticed that flash MP3 listen again streams no longer appear to be available.

This is evident with BBC Radio 4 Extra listen again streams, which will fail to play if 'Use Flash AAC streams' is disabled.
I tested a couple of BBC Radio 4 listen again streams. These did play, but in a WMA mode, not MP3.

Looking more closely, it seems as if some server/host information might have gone AWOL from the BBC's connecting up data.

It's not a show-stopper for me, because the AAC streams are playing fine, but I thought I would flag it up as a potential problem.
