ok, I'm up and running. I've had to manually add Triode's plugin repository:
http://triodeplugins.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/repo.xml
which I don't recall having to do before. But I've added it, BBCiPlayer is now installed, and working well.

Are you installing the applet or the plugin
Applets have nothing to do with browser or LMS so do not bother with caches. The plugin may be affected by browser and LMS cache.
When installling the applet make sure "recommended applets only" is unchecked (i.e. dark not blue)

It looks like the "recommended" applet and plugin repository is not working correctly at present. This means that you will only be able to install the plugin/applet if you have LMS running and manually add my repository to it. I will try to find out from Logitech if they can fix it.

Live Radio
When I listen live to BBCiplayer with LMS on my SB Radios, I get the radio station name on the top line but nothing else. Meaning for BBC Radio 4, I see: top line "BBC Radio 4"'; second line "blank"; image "4".
If I use TuneIn, I see: top line "programme name (eg Book at Bedtime)"; second line "BBC Radio 4 ..."; image "changes with programme". So I'm not using BBCiplayer for live radio.

Any news from the BBC end about the iplayer text feed yet??
The tunein workaround above may have to be employed
