Thanks for the quick reply but my knowledge is limited so I'm just
running blind really. However using the code below...
<outline text="Pete Tong"
URL="http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/availability/radio1.xml"
icon="http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/img/radio/bbc_radio_one.gif"
parser="Plugins::BBCiPlayer::BBCXMLParser?filter:B rand=Pete Tong" />
seems to give me an instant listing to all the shows from Pete Tong but
I cannot see how I refine the list further such that I can get a link
that always takes me to his 2100 Friday show??
Cheers Gary

Sorry I don't see an easy way to do that as there's nothing in the xml
feed which can be easily filtered on to say it is Friday... You would
need to write an addtional perl parser to do this which looks at the
date field and converts it to the day of the week.

That is kinda what I thought but how does the search organise by day?
<outline text="Pete Tong" URL="http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/availability/radio1.xml"
icon="http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/img/radio/bbc_radio_one.gif"
parser="Plugins::BBCiPlayer::BBCXMLParser?filter:B rand=Pete Tong&byday&reversedays" />
Is that not another step I could use to narrow the search?

Byday will just create byday menus of the results - may do what you want, but I am not sure

County Cricket Commentaries
Triode
Is there any chance of creating a menu item for the live county cricket commentaries on this page:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cric...es/default.stm
Usual thanks for great plugin.
In my opinion BBC iPlayer is in itself reason enough to buy squeezebox players.
Or conversely is it covered in iPlayer extras which I haven't got installed at the moment?
I've managed to extract the wma stream of the match I'm interested in at the moment but the method was cumbersome.
