    Question about presets and AlienBBC

I've just received my Boom (it's stunning, btw, and complements my three SB3 units nicely). Anyway, I use AlienBBC to listen to BBC Scotland FM (97-99 FM). If I tune into this station via AlienBBC and press the preset button to store, nothng happens.

Is this a limitation of the Boom or AlienBBC?

None of the SqueezeNetwork features (RadioTime, RadioIO etc) seem to carry Radio Scotland, so AlienBBC is my only option for this.

    Any advice please?

    Many thanks,

    Jim

Saving as a preset used to work during Beta but something may have happened since.

Save as a Favorite the following url - you can assign a preset key from Favorites editing.
    Code:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/radioscotland/media/radioscotland.ram

Many thanks bpa, much apprecaited. That has done the trick nicely.

Favourites editing doesn't seem to be there in Fishbone so I've had to revert to the much slower default. But it's working nicely!

Can I ask how you knew that URL? Do you know similar URLs for Radio 1, Radio 2, Radio 4 etc?

Alien > BBC Live Streams > then click on the NAME of the station (not the heart, play or +). This will reveal the actual URL that you can cut & paste anywhere including favorites.

ex: BBC Radio 1 Live: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/realaudio/media/r1live.ram
