    Hi folks,

i'm planning ti update my Syno box to FW 722 and the SC7.2 package. in my current environment I have AllienBBC installed - my question in general: how to handle plugins on the Syno box? Any experience?

    Thanks in advance!

I do not know AllienBBC, but there is a folder
    /volume1/@appstore/SqueezeCenter/Plugins
where I put LazySearch2 and this plugin is detected and configurable as before with ssods

Anyway, I went back to SSODS

    handling of special characters
LazySearch gives me no files back
search gives only a few files, and a lot of duplicates (see next point)
scan finds 86'000 files, where with ssods (and on iTunes) I get about 60'000 songs....

I had the same problem. After I left the field "Music Folder" in the "Basic Settings" Tab blank the problem does not longer occur. But that requires, that iTunes is the one and only source...

    Regards!

Sorry for perhaps asking a beginners question: "how can I have access to that folder".

Before the Synology Squeezecenter Package, using SSODS, the folder was easily accessable for me, because it was one of the public folders, like /volume1/music.
Folders localized under /volume1/@appstore/ are not public.
Is there an easy way to have accesss?

Thanks in advance for helping me with this problem.

Edit: I found a "workaround"; described on the Synology site under "modifications", "unsupported configuration changes".
"view volume1 as a share, of folders outside of volume1 via Samba"

This method works fine for me.
