Hi there, I am having a lot of problems setting up my Squeezebox Boom on a Wireless Network. As you will see, I am not htat tech-literate
I can get it all set up on the Ethernet setting and the SqueezeCenter runs perfectly and I was wondering if some people could chip in and help me out.
I will describe the steps I am doing to:
1. Assume that I have it set up as Ethernet and it running fine
2. Take out the Ethernet cable
3. Do a factory reset
4. Get to the 'Connect to wireless network' option, press on the wheel.
5. Choose region country: I choose "United States & Mexico", press the wheel
6. Choose my wireless network, press the wheel
7. Choose the encryption (64 or 128 bit WEP)
I think this is where I am going wrong. I think I have a regular passkey on my network and not HEX, what do I do?
Say my passkey is Hatstand77777 (made up for the purposes of this this post, how do I tell what it should be in 64 or 128 bit WEP? Which should I choose out of 64 or 128 bit WEP
Many thanks.

Setting up A Wireless Network
FYI, WEP stands for 'Wired equivalent privacy'. But WEP is 100% broken --
you might as well not have any encryption at all. If you can switch to WPA
(which is secure for now) or just turn off encryption all together.
