    Start-up splash image

Throughout beta testing, Boom always said "squeezebox" on cold power-up or reset.

Since Boom looked to SC like an SB3, I thought this was just inherited from the SB3.

However now that the product is in production, "squeezebox" is still there.

No big deal, but for consistency purposes and so as not to confuse new users, should it be changed to "boom"?
Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta, PQP1 - early beta), SBC (early beta), Squeezebox Radio (PB1 - early beta), Squeezebox Touch (late beta)
    Sold: SB3, Duet

AFAIK, the splash image is in firmware and unrelated to SC or SN.

Squeezebox Boom and Squeezebox Classic are both members of the Squeezebox family.

It says Squeezebox for brand consistency and is deliberate.

Some people think the title of this song is irrelevant,
    but it's not irrelevant - it's a hippopotamus.
