You can't do special prices for existing customers of other Apps on the App Store.
One thing you _do_ get right now is a discount on the playback feature - for both Apps and you only need to purchase that one once for both Apps.

And yes, there are a few ways to build custom playlists.
The simple one is to save the current playlist. In the iPad App there's a "save" button at the bottom of the playlist (permanently), in iPeng for iPhone you have to press the "Edit" button at the top right first (due to lack of space).
The other good option is to use the "playlist manager" plugin which will then show up at the top of each context menu to allow you to simply add tracks etc. to a saved playlist.

No, it's a server-side plugin and you can install it through the web interface ("Settings->Pugins"). You may have to enable "3rd party plugins" on that page first.
There's also a forum thread for the plugin here in the "3rd Party Software" section

As with all apps, ipeng for iphone installs on all iphones/ipads connected to the SAME itunes account. This said, I would HIGHLY recommend additionally purchasing iPengHD (the app specifically for the iPAD). It is well worth the additional $$.

I checked with triode , radio stations actually works ,but in a buggy way , in native interfaces a short tap on or play with ir works fine a hold give a useless menu that says "station name" "title" .

in iPeng I only get a pop-up saying "station name" and title and no play button at all, so it kind of works in other interfaces not in iPeng

Tap on what? I don't understand that point.
I tried to play a spotify radio recently from a URI and did not get it to work through any interface.

Hi long time squeeze commander & squeeze pad user,

    Hi
I recently changed my android phone to the iPhone 4, I have been using Squeeze commander and Squeezepad with playback for a long time, truly excellent, but now I got the iPhone so thought it's got to be ipeng.

Now ipeng works well so paid the extra for playback and here's a massive disappointment for me No mysqueezebox.com, this is a feature I use all the time with Squeeze commander and squeezepad.
Why can't ipeng playback use my squeezebox.com ?

If I start my server it means I'm going to be sat down with one of the squeezebox touches not the iPhone, I used the playback feature in squeezecommander almost exclusively for MSB.com
I find the playback feature worthless without mysqueezebox.com support. Is this feature likely to be implemented in the future ?

    Fingers crossed Gomez...

Because Logitech explicitly disallows it under the thread of sending their lawyers after me. Complain to them.
SqueezePad is not supposed to work either, if it still does you are eithe among the lucky ones who bout it before Logitech started to filter for it or you found the workaround.

SqueezeCommander doesn't have playback at all so I don't understand your comment there, you can't play music using SqueezeCommander, control through iPeng and MySB works.

SqueezeCommander has no Playback feature. What are you talking about?

No. It works perfectly well but unless Logitech allows it it's not going to come.
BTW: this is mentioned all across the documentation, for example in the very first sentence of the feature description or even in iPeng's App Store description. Would have helped to read it.

    Hi Pippin,

At the moment on iPeng HD my playlists/the current playlist show the track in bold then name of artist below, Is there any way to reverse this and show the artists in bold first then the name of the Track below it or have I missed it to do this in settings & any update when the new UI for iPeng HD is coming?
