Are the log entries similar if you use the same file as a seed?
It's in the player settings in the web interface.Where do you enable 'play other tracks in album'? On iPeng somewhere or the webinterface?
These two are changes to the playback. The first one probably is also what fixed your issue.
What does an SB do, for me, there's always a brief pause between tracks on the SB, too. iPeng doesn't add any silence or something unless it runs into a buffer underrun which is probably not what's happening here, but I don't know what exactly the mp3 decoder does when there's a track change. I can't look into that one since it's Apple's built-in decoder running on the DSP. Maybe it's stopping the Audio queue and restarting everything when the new track starts but then this has to _somehow_ be reflected in the audio data since iPeng just sends continuous data and doesn't pause unless being told to by the server. OR the server does command this but I would not know why. With regards to MP3 I am talking about one single file with a cue sheet detailing tracks i.e. there are no gaps and ipeng is adding them.
Could you send me a sample file, I don't have any mp3s with cue sheets.

Sure. Easier if I create you a cuesheet to scan with one of your existing mp3 tracks. Copy a 5 minute mp3 song and rename it as 'cue.mp3' and I'll send you a cuesheet splitting into 30 second tracks to drop in next to it. When you run a scan LMS will then pull out the track data from the cuesheet rather than show one track of 'cue.mp3'. I'll drop you an email tonight when I'm home. MP3 files with cuesheets have no gaps when playing on SB players.
I've noticed the Airplay feature on iPeng and I have Airplay on my amp so may have a play with this feature. To use this do you need iTunes running on a PC somewhere or will it run without that (using LMS on a NAS for example)? Also, what will it do to FLAC files - convert to WAV and then ALAC or does it still play natively? And will it stream 24/88, 24/96 natively too?

If you've got an AirPlay target (AppleTV, Airport Express or any AirPlay speaker) it will run without iTunes.
Convert to raw PCM (WAV) and send that over the network to the AirPlay device. Also, what will it do to FLAC files - convert to WAV and then ALAC or does it still play natively?
No, AirPlay doesn't support anything beyond 48kHz. Currently in iPeng everything gets downsampled to 44.1/16 (by iOS) but the next release might support 48kHz directly (or at least up to 96/24 through a dock but then not through AirPlay because AirPlay doesn't support it). We are currently testing this and have to see how well it works. And will it stream 24/88, 24/96 natively too?---

Hey, if I knew anything about Apple's future plans I would probably get shot if I talked about them
The KGB was transparent compared to them....
Actually I don't think they'll do that. No Apple AirPlay HW supports more than 48 kHz and it would eat bandwidth and power, two things Apple cares about while the actual gain is questionable. But then, you never know, HD formats ARE supported through the camera kit on iPad and I'm just trying to find out whether they will work with HD compatible docks on iPhone, too.---

Just want to say thanks for the scrolling text controls on the new iPeng for iPad. They make a huge difference to my collection (possibly due to some idiosyncracies in my music/tagging). The continued introduction of both major features and surprisingly useful polishing features is a great part of the iPeng experience. Can't wait to see what comes next.

I think I tracked down one more titbit of information of why MusicIP can not be played with iPeng. I have two Booms and one SB3. If I have only the SB3 powered on, then it can queue MusicIP mixes, however, if one of the Booms is the 'primary' player, ie. on the players screen the one on top or with the little arrow, then I cannot queue them. So it seems I am only able to queue mixes when I have the SB3 powered on and it is the primary player... Not sure if that helps tracking down the bug though... Powered on means 'on', ready to play or playing, they are always plugged in. Again, mixes can be queued fine with the Logitech iPhone app, but I am so used to iPeng that I don't really want to switch.... Thanks!

Could you check the player settings for the Booms in the Web Interface?
I suspect that MusicIP for some reason doesn't work with the Booms (have you tried what happend when you try to control the Booms with the Logi App, not the SB3), there is a player specific MusicIP Setting under "Settings->Players".
One difference between iPeng and the Logi App is that if you have several synced players, iPeng will always control the master (the top one in a sync group) except for player settings like volume, alarm etc. This resolves some problems but means whatever you are trying to do has to work with the master player.---
