No. For now: just give them different names.

iPeng shows all your servers and let's you just select anyone of them from the MultiPlayer screen just like you can select players (actually you can even select a player on a different server right away) and you can also move players between servers.

The next version (iPad only, for now, iPhone will get this sometime in January) will also have a somewhat improved autoswitching behavior, following your players between servers.

Generally iPeng handles several servers pretty well, it's designed to work with several of them, especially since with e.g. the Touch you need to expect that people use both MySB and SBS/LMS.

I always run two, most of the time even three and with remote access I often see up to 7 servers in my iPeng (including MySB and Test.MySB)

Which file format are you trying to play?
Squeezebox Radio Music player. But like I said, there is not a problem going through the web ui for the logitech interface and the SB runs just fine. It has to do with iPeng. Windows XP SP3 on the server OS. Just trying to play mp3s.

This actually looks like it may be promising and I will try checking out some of the suggestions to see if it is the problem. It looks like maybe it has to do with artwork and caching that information... we shall see.

No, that's not what I mean, I specifically meant the first case which has to do with 7.7.0, all the other issues have to do with older versions. You will not have a caching issue with 7.7.0, it's fast and stable, also on XP.

The 7.7.0 problem is that it creates an excessive number of submenus for photo albums (again: has nothing to do with the artwork display for albums) which can't be read by iPeng.

The web interface is completely different here, just that something works in the web interface doesn't mean a thing. If you want to compare, check whether it works on the Radio itself.

Tanks for the new christmas version!

Changing the current server name from within iPeng caused iPeng to crash when I opened the player/server control (where I could briefly see the old server name displayed). The server name contains no stranger characters than "ö".

(The "Advanced Settings" button is not yet translated, but you probably already know that.)

Does it persist or is this a one-time event?
Are we talking about setting the library name in the advanced settings or about the name you set yourself for a manually configured server (changing the top line of the server setup)?

Oh. No, actually it _should_ be translated.... I'll check that.

    Thanks for the reply!

It seems to have been a one time event. I tried changing the name back and forth and now all went well. Probably just one of those things. It was the first thing I did after installing the new version and finding a spelling error in the SBS server name (in the advanced settings, not for a manually configured server - I did not even know that it was possible to change the name).

The language is Swedish and above the new Advanced Settings button there is a "block" about twice the height of the button with a slightly lighter blue colour. (Let me know if you would like a picture.)

In the same dialog the buttons Rescan, Clear and Playlists are also not translated. And the word Manuell (Wake-On-Lan) is misspelled (it is spelled Manuel). I think I have reported this before.

I got several (at least 4 or 5) crashes with the new version. Is there a way that I can retrieve the crash reports on the iPad itself and send them to you? (Unfortunately Wi-Fi sync does not work with my iPad and the usb drivers on my Win 7 64 bit PC are not recognising the iPad.)

    Hello,

Is it possible to have access to my SB database offline? Would it be possible to dump the whole albums and tracks list with the covers and be able to read that from iPeng or any other app?

    Thanks

No, thanks. That block is on purpose. It's where the progress information for rescans will be shown and I wanted people to notice that there is not just an empty space.
Right now I could not move the Advanced Settings item upwards because I want to use the same view for iPad and iPhone and the iPhone App doesn't have and will not get the web configuration feature because there is no LMS skin that works on iPhone (for settings).

I can confirm the translation issue, I used a wrong version of the translation file.

They never are. I don't have fitting translations for them.
And the word Manuell (Wake-On-Lan) is misspelled (it is spelled Manuel). I think I have reported this before.
    Thanks. Fixed.

No need to. I believe I know what they are coming from and have already fixed it a few days ago but didn't want to pull the build.
It has to do with the notification popoups which get assigned to a wrong player. But I'll also test a bit more...

If you keep the App running and lose contact to the server the content of the main lists will still be there.
I'm about to change the database model in an upcoming version now that I don't have to support iOS 3 anymore but I'm not sure this will give you full offline access to the database.
The problem is that it gets in the way of easy server detection and use which I rank higher in importance because it's something the majority of iPeng user wants and needs.
