Also, my music is in FLAC. Am I getting FLAC on playback if I have no bitrate limit on my wifi setting?
    Yes.

Yes, it works fine. I'm just wondering if I'm going to continue to have it at no additional cost.

    Ah, OK.
    Short answer: Yes.

(As long as you always use the same iTunes account).

There is one limitation: Playback in iPeng for iPhone and iPeng for iPad is not the same, you always have to remember that to not accidentally purchase it again in the other App.

If you purchased the iPhone version, you can use it (playback) in both apps without re-purchase (if you enable it in either App on the iPad, it will work in both and of them and you can always install the iPhone App on the iPad for free), so you can also use it on iPad for free.

The other way around doesn't work (because you can't install the iPad App on the iPhone). You can purchase the discounted version for iPhone then, though (for $1).

Sometimes App Store _can_ actually be complicated. When we first did the playback there was no way to share an In-App-Purchase between Apps (now it's possible using your own registration server) and now we are pretty much tied into the current model.

Thanks. Good to know. It currently works on both my iPhone and iPad, so I guess I'm good.

    Wink Fuzzy icons

I recently upgraded my phone from a 3GS to a 4S. I notice that the icons and controls in ipeng aren't making use of the screen's increased resolution. I know this is a minor (and purely aesthetic thing) but making use of larger bitmaps for retina displays would make your already great app just a bit greater.

Would you draw them for me?
I'm adding them whenever I or my graphics designer do new ones and all of the new stuff is already HD but some of the original icons or of the plugin Icons provided by others. Some are Apple's and I don't have them in HD.

I'm not very good at graphics myself and we talk about 140 or so of them.

Have to say that having used iPeng for iPod for a few days now I find the "touch to play" method a bit counter-intuitive (& very annoying!). Several times while building & listening to a playlist by scrolling albums, a flick to scroll has been interpreted as a double-tap. Resulting in the track that was accidentally selected playing immediately at the expense of wiping the playlist.

I know you have the party mode to partly mitigate for this but I'd have thought it would have made more sense (at least to me) for a single touch of a track to bring up the context menu with touch+hold playing immediately. Or at least the single touch asking for confirmation if the playlist is currently populated.

Or you could just use one of the other play modes like add or add-next.
See "Help->Quick Tutorials->Albums/Playlists". That will avoid blowing away your playlist.

Using a different touch-to-play will probably confuse other Squeezebox users even more since the TTP is how the SBs and the Controller and the Logi App as well. Other then with these in iPeng you at least have the choice.
