Yes, it's probably same problem as ikabob.
It happens with several of my playlists, not only those with youtube entries.
I also restarted my iphone but no change.

I updated my SBS to the latest 7.6.2r33532 software. I rebooted my pc.
I continue to have the inability to load up a playlist. It continues to terminate ipeng.
Once again, when I go to the "playlist" area and when I touch/ select a playlist, it is nonfunctional and will not load as a playlist in "now playing". In a very short time(5seconds) ipeng crashes(terminates). "playlist" function is just non- functional for me.
    Very unusual.

    Thanks for any assistance.

I can't reproduce this but I'm running the server on a Mac.
Could you check whether the server is still scanning? I did get a single crash once when entering the "Playlists" menu (not a playlist, the list of lists) while the server was canning but wasn't able to reproduce it.

OK, think I found it. Happens under certain conditions when there is missing artwork for a playlist entry. It's an iPeng bug. Will be fixed in the next release.

As a workaround it helps to wait until the default artwork loading has finished in the background (should only be a few seconds, iPeng doesn't load an awful lot in the background anymore) before opening the playlist.

Thanks for working on this. I'll look forward to the next update. I appreciate your persistence and your personal attention.
By the way, the work around will not work for me. Most times, once the selected playlist is on the "add to" screen, it is only a matter of a few seconds that it crashes automatically; ie, there is no waiting period for default artwork to load up.

    +1 Ikabob.
Does not help to wait for playlist to load because it terminates in just a second on some playlists.
Would it help to use the flush cache in iPeng? What does that actually do?

Flushing the cache would make things worse.
The problem gets worse if some _other_ graphics are still being loaded in the background.

But it can still happen due to the graphics for other tracks in the playlist as well.

I wrote several post before that I have trouble with "New Music" function. My wife make an update from her ipod and doesn't have this problem. But with her IPOD the ipeng application hang up several times and it makes no fun to work with.....grgrgr

As usual: could you give me some details about the problem?
I mean: would YOU understand what the problem is from these words?

    More details...mhh...

In the moment I have 2 ipods with ipeng 1.4.1 and both have diffrent errors. One doesn't show "New Music" and one is very unstable.

But I use the old SBS 7.6.1. I wait for LMS 7.7 that fix many problems. You do not need to find the error in the moment. I only want to give you an feedback about your 1.4.1 version.
