Hi Pippin,
Can't see if anyone else has brought this up recently, but it seems that when I'm using Pandora, the thumps up and thumbs down functions don't appear to work w/iPeng.
It'd sure be nice to get the Rhapsody playlist thing fixed, too someday. Still having to long press > context menu > play to start a playlist.
Cheers and thank you,

Pandora thumbs buttons work for me, just tried it, it does get reported to my Pandora account.
Did you use the buttons or the context menu items?
Does it work if you use the feature on the Squeezebox directly?
I would love to fix the Rhapsody playlists but I can't. It something Logitech has to change and I don't have high hopes since the bug I filed about it is two years old and hasn't seen any activity in along time.
You might want to comment or vote on it, if you like.

Yeah, now I remember you explained the Rhapsody thing last time I brought it up. Will vote for the bug but I understand that it may be a futile effort.
Re. Pandora I used the buttons in iPeng, but because there wasn't any feedback (color change, etc.) so I assumed it hadn't registered. Hadn't thought to look in my Pandara account but will give it all another try later today when I'm back home at my iPad. I suspect it is, indeed, working but will let you know. Thank you.Rg

Yes, there is no feedback.
Feedback comes from the server in the form of a popup message but iPeng suppresses this. The problem is that the messages are pretty verbose and you can't really separate them so especially if you've got several Squeezeboxes you can easily get flooded by a lot of them which I personally find annoying.---

Makes sense and yep, I verified via my Pandora account that it does indeed work correctly. A suggestion for a future update: would it be possible to make the appropriate thumb change color until the next track began to play so the user could see that something did happen? Also, I have a vague recollection that via either the Touch or sbs web interface, a thumbs down would cause it to skip immediately to the next track which would also be an excellent feature if it could be implemented via iPeng. Thanks again....

Actually no. iPeng doesn't know that the command succeeded.
It's what the Pandora "App" does and it works just fine with iPeng, too. Also, I have a vague recollection that via either the Touch or sbs web interface, a thumbs down would cause it to skip immediately to the next track which would also be an excellent feature if it could be implemented via iPeng.---

Stored playlist.
Running server ver 7.6.1 - r33110
The item is youtube://J8sr74iCjyA
I have not yet actually tested with other youtube items or other playlists so maybe it's a glitch at my end....
