    It's not supported.
You can't turn the server from showing the option, even if it's not there, sorry.

Maybe in the distant future when Apple's hardware and API changes and you don'T have to do it on the CPU anymore.
I looked into it a bit for other reasons (equalization) and the computing requirements just make you not want it beyond what Apple's API supports. You simply don't want a nonresponsive device that drains battery like hell and gets hot in the process.

    Oh, I see.
Is it the same with replaygain? Cuz I cant feel that squeezecast has made the device slow or hotter than normal while using it.

No, replay gain is simple, it's a single integer multiplication.
However, SqueezeCast does things I can't do and will not do for reasons I won't discuss publicly.

    Ok.

I bought playback yesterday, since I cannot longer use ipeng to control squeezecast for some reason.
And, I really like replaygain, can we expect that to be implemented?

No. At least not in the near future.
It could be doable with flac and ogg (will have to check with James, maybe it's even in there for flac), but there is little chance for mp3, aac, alac. It's generally not impossible to do with the native codecs but it's a bit complex and there's quite a list of other things to be done first (more buffering, gapless, syncing).

Ok, thx very much for your kind explanations. I'd like buffering and gapless, so I can wait

    Latest iPeng Fails

I tried to update iPeng on my iPad. It goes through the whole process correctly but, under extras the browser doesn't show up. I tried restarting the iPad and nothing changed. I checked the updates available and it shows there is a update available for iPeng. I went through the process three times, same result each time.

    Suggestions?
