Yes. Subfolders always break down albums. I was having the same issue, too, in the past.

    SBR not switching servers

Up until last week everything was working great, I could switch my Receiver to MySqueezebox.com, back to my NAS and visa versa using iPeng no problems. Now ever since one evening when I didn't switch servers after turning my NAS off and the blue light displayed on the Receiver for a couple days, I am now unable to toggle between servers WITHOUT unplugging the Receiver from the mains and plugging it back in again. I recall I used to do this in the past then strangly it just worked, maybe after an iPeng and/or SBR update!

Is there anything I can do/test to get this working again as it's a real pain to keep unplugging the Receiver.

    Much appreciated.
    Matt

    Pippin,

the other day I used the Switch Player plugin to move a playlist from an SB3 to my iPhone, and iPeng froze badly. To recover I had to kill the app twice (!?)
I reproduce get the same issue on iPad.
I'm not using the latest-and-greatest SBS, so perhaps you want to check if you can encounter the issue yourself.

    Thanks!

I assume you've been using Net::UDAP to configure it?
I've heard this before but never seen it myself.

Was one of the players involved iPeng's?
    How big is your playlist?
We've fixed one severe lockup issue recently but that involved the playback.

    Syncing not working as expected...

I've noticed some strange behaviour when syncing multiple squeezeboxes:

Let's assume I've 2 players, player1 and player2, and I want to sync them. I use iPeng to sync both players, add both players and choose player1 as master.
Now when I break syncing player1 stops and player2 continues playing. I would assume it should be the master that continous playing, not the slave.

    - Very small playlist. I was initially listening to BBC Radio 1 so the playlist had 1 item. Then I tried with a single album, as I recall.
    - An SB3 was playing, I powered up the iPhone iPeng playback instance and went to the Switch Player plugin. Switch from [the SB3] and i. the SB3 did shutdown, ii. the iPeng player did not play, iii. iPeng was frozen.
Went the same road if you s/iPeng/iPeng for iPad/

UPDATE: I tried the scenario above with 1 single track from an album. The iPeng player did not start but interestingly iPeng did not crash. I could restart the SB3 without issue from iPeng.
Something's afoot, but it's not too clear what it is. Sorry.

That's correct I have been using Net::UDAP. Suppose I will have to wait and hopefully it'll correct itself again. Thanks.

    Hi Pippin,

Is there a reason why some tracks from my PC stored library will stream without a problem to my Squeezebox Touch but not to my iPhone 4, regardless of the file type ?

    Thank You
