Thanks for letting me know. Looks like my provider rebooted the server without letting me know. It's back up again.
What happens if you tap the first track? Did you read "Help->Quick Tutorials->Albums/Playlists" in the App? (It's the popup that comes up automatically when you open an album the first time).2) there seem to be significant problems with the Rhapsody integration:
a) when I try to play a Rhapsody album, the only option it gives me is to "play the album as shuffled". When I click on this, it plays the album in the album order, not shuffled
This works like on the iPod app, you have to simply tap the track to use.
Shuffling generally doesn't work on Rhapsody, it's not an iPeng issue but a MySqueezebox.com issue
No, THAT works, at least for me. Again, have you read the tutorial I mentioned above?b) Once a Rhapsody album is playing, it appears to be impossible to add other Rhapsody songs or albums to the current play list
This works for me, albeit the menu is a bit weired, you have to select "play playlist(1)" in Play mode... Again, have a look at that tutorial.c) When a Rhapsody album is playing and I try to play one of the pre-configured Rhapsody play lists, they don't play at all. Instead the album I was already listening to continues to play.
Of course you can. It's on the "NowPlaying" overlay that you get when tapping the big cover. It's like on the Web interface, the icons replace the "shuffle" and "repeat" icons which in turn are placed where they are on the iPod app...3) there are some minor problems with the Slacker intgeration
a) it does not appear to be the case that you can "heart" or "thumbs down" Slacker songs even though one can with the web user interface.
You can also use the context menu ("hold" the big cover art). There's also a tutorial about context menus in "Help" in the app, that one did also show up automatically.
All of them are working nowiPeng is a promising app - but nearly all of my listening is on Rhapsody and Slacker. Thus, these problems render the app not very useful to me. And it is frustrating that there is no obvious support web site. Free is free, but if I'm paying 10x as much as the average app store app, I expect commercial quality software that works as advertised. I am curious if any of these things will be fixed...thanks.
Sorry for the inconvenience about the web site.

Not long...as I said I can't access the documentation because the developer's web site does not work so it is also hard for me to know exactly how to use it. I am glad I found this support forum. Perhaps it should be mentioned in the iPeng application as the average person probably will never find it.How long have you been using Ipeng?
I think you are being too quick to pass judgement. Ipeng is an awesome app and is supported by Pippin (the developer) very conscienteously. I use Ipeng for Rhapsody and for Slacker and have found zero problems adding and removing from playlists etc. Perhaps if you voice your concerns here on this thread which is dedicated to Ipeng, then you will find that Ipeng is worth 10X$10 or more. Good luck.
As far as Rhapsody, what exactly can you do beyond playing an entire album? That's the only function I can get to work. From the Squeezebox web app it's quite straight forward to add single songs to a play list, add albums to a playlist etc but none of this seems possible in iPeng. Does it not just say "play all songs on album shuffled" as your option? Is there any reason why the app would work for you but not me? Have you tried playing a Rhapsody pre-packaged play list while a Rhapsody album is playing? Does it work? Again, iPeng seems like a wonderful application but these things don't work for me, rendering it not that useful FOR ME. However, I am certainly open to any suggestions anyone has including the developer.
Can you favorite songs in Slacker? I can't.

Now I'm really confused
Perhaps I turned on "Mysqueezebox" by mistake...would that be the issue. I normally just stream right from the squeeze box server and Rhapsody songs behave like any other song...I can add one song to a play list, an album, play shuffled, play sequentially, etc. I have never had problems doing any of these things. So does iPeng do these things if I do not log into "mysqueezebox"?

The whole functionality for the Squeezebox is being provided by MySqueezebox.com. If you use your won server it just proxies the results but the content is still being generated by MySqueezebox.com
If you can add single tracks to a playlist in Rhapsody through the web interface then the web interface is still different from the rest of the SB APIs, you can't do that with a Controller, Radio, Touch or iPeng.
I filed a bug but Logitech claims that this is intended behavior.
It's a different domain (penguinlovesmusic.com vs. penguinlovesmusic.de for the web site)
Also have a look at how the iPod App works. I follow Apple's UI more closely than the Squeezebox UI since this is what I find more natural on an Apple device.
Both the "play shuffled" as well as the "NowPlaying overlay" feature are directly copied from Apple's UI.---

I can go to Rhapsody, pull up an album and a listing of all the tracks on that album. I could add the entire album but if I wanted to add just a single track, I just lay my finger on that track for a second or two, select add to end or play next and the single track is placed in the playlist. Is this what you are referencing? Thanks.
