The start screen hasn't changed, you can see the version number under "Help".
There might still be some more issues with WOL, I'm still investigating one, but have you set the WOL configuration again?

    WOL on 1.2.5.1

Installed last night on Ipod Touch, iOS4.

WOL is not working even after I reboot the Ipod and the Vortexbox.

However, it did work to shutdown the server, but the Squeezebox Touch remains playing the track when I sent out the shutdown server command. I have to use the remote to turn off the Touch.

Before 1.2.5, I can use iPeng to shutdown the server, turn the Touch into standby mode but now I can't.

Have you done the WOL setup again after the update?

Do you use SvrPowerControl? I don't know too much about that one, can't get it to run on my machines but I'm not aware of any changes that should affect it's operation.
If you turn off the server and your Squeezebox is playing radio it will always continue to do so.

I've got the same problem. Just re-entered the MAC address (I thought it was picking it up automatically now!) and no joy. I also have 'Awake' on my iPod and that works so I know it's not my system suddenly not working.

Rest of iPeng is brilliant - couldn't live without it.

Hi Pippin, some very minor wierdness I'm using Ipeng 1.2.5 on an Iphone 3g, running 3.1.3.

when I pass a finger over the ear speaker thing the Ipeng goes blank. Maybe you have activated the proximity sensor ? I didn't notice it till I was playing with the self adjusting aspect and can't adjust volume if the phone is 'upside down'. Workaround is to use the phone the correct way up I suppose ;-)

Its very minor, just odd, everything else is pretty good at my end otherwise.

I don't like the player icons and preferred the old ones.

hmmm, I'm running and iphone 3 (not 3g) with 3.1.3 firmware. I tried to reproduce your issues and couldn't. If the phone is upside down, I can still use vol up/down and it works. I also ran my finger over the ear speaker and everything else and couldn't get the screen to go blank.

    It's a feature
And it's only enabled if you set "Prevent Standby".
The idea is that you can keep the device active so it's immediately available when you pick it up (no disabling of screen saver) but you can save some power by putting it on the table upside down.
It's the only way to turn off the screen when the screen saver is disabled.

    Pippin,

I did a small investigation tonight. I tried to look at the mac address in Ipeng. for my server it is 00:0A:E4:8B:5F:AB but when I enter this it corrects it to 0:A:E4:8B:5F:AB

This doesnt look right does it? I dont see why it should change the 0's.

Its the same on both Iphone and Touch.

    I hope this helps you.

    Thanks.
