    * a Mazzy Star album is playing.
    * I then select a Janet Jackson album to play.
    * iPeng returns to the Now Playing screen and Janet Jackson starts to play.
    * The Now Playing screen continues to show the Mazzy Star album in the current playlist. This goes on for a whle until iPeng updates it Now Playing list with the correct album.
    Also 7.9.1?
    Which OS?

    Sorry, i don't understand, what's different?
Pascal's issue simply looks like the information sent by the server in the status update notification is not updated and then it takes until iPeng regularly requests the next update for the information to change.

Yes, also 7.9.1. But I have experienced the issue with older 7.9 version as well.

Oh, btw, I see that you are using the context menu to play, is it the same thing when e.g. Selecting a track in the album track listing to play?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe so.
It is not easy to reproduce the issue as it seems to be sporadic.

    Hi,
Is it possible to change the player icons that are displayed in the (synchronized) player section?
    Best regards
    Martin

    Getting rid of MySqueezebox.com

    Hi,

I don't use MySqueezebox.com and have not done any configurations related to it what so ever. But every time I get out of my local network, iPeng widget selects MySqueezebox.com as the current music source and keeps it until I open the app and go change it. This makes the widget usage a bit problematic as I'd like it to work as soon as I get back home without the need to open the app. Is there some way I could get rid off MySqueezebox.com completetely in iPeng?

Do you keep iPeng running in the background?
Because iPeng usually isn't supposed to switch servers if you run the widget only, the widget. Ant change music sources, only the main app can do that.
It also might actually help to register iPeng on MySqueezebox.com because then it sees that you don't have any players there

Yes, iPhone apps to my understanding pretty much always run in the background unless you take specific measures to kill it (which hopefully is not needed in this case ).

Well, the main app is there in the background, but from usability viewpoint forcefully killing it after each time opening it (or then having some reminder to tell me to kill it when I leave home) is not very convenient either, in fact less convenient than the current situation I assume.

Can you elaborate, please? How do I register iPeng to MySqueezebox.com?

Any chance of adding a setting to disable MySqueezebox altogether?
