Hi pippin

Does the 1.4.8 release use a larger buffer for playback as compared to 1.3.5? I know you talked about increasing it, but I haven't seen any recent mention of it.

I regularly experience drop outs while streaming via 3G, but very rarely have them when using wifi.

iphone4, ios 4.3.5.

Yes it's the Random Mix (albums)on the main menu.

Just fyi,problem occurs only sometimes and not on all discs.

All tags are corrects with only one cover (folder.jpg) for each track (flac)

Hi, I altered the per player settings for Napster on mysqueezebox.com to show on the home menu but in when it is displayed in iPeng on the top menu (I'm using the iPad app) the MOG icon is displayed alongside the word 'Napster' and if I try to use it I'm presented with a message that I need to create a MOG account. Napster in the My Apps menu looks fine and works fine. Very strange. Thank you for any advice, Richard.

That's indeed VERY strange. It means MySB has not enabled Napster but MOG and named it Napster, there's somthing going severely wrong in your MySB account.

Which country is your account set to? Did you try to "uninstall" and "reinstall" the Napster App?

If that doesn't help, please ask in the MySB forum or call Logitech support, I'm pretty sure this is not an iPeng issue.

I have an album where there is four artists and one album artist .

In album views the album is presented as being by the album artist correct.

But in the playlist the tracks are presented as by one of the artist ?? Not the album artist ?

This is not a compilation album, just an album where I wanted the other players mentioned as artists and the Main artist ( who's album it is ) as artist and album artist .

The current playlist it selects an track artist semingly random.

Yep. That's the server.
IPeng uses the documented status query from the CLI instead of the undocumented one SqueezePlay uses and that one's a bit lacking.

Do you see the same on the player and/or web UI as well?

The iPeng thread is huge and the answer is likely here already but it wouild take me a week to find it.

So here's my question...

Recently I bought a Windows phone and played around with one of the Squeezebox apps that are available. I was surprised to see that when playing various internet radios stations that album art was being displayed.

I've never seen this while using iPeng. I only ever get the stations own artwork icon displayed. Album art displays while playing my own music which is on my own computer but I've never seen it while listening to internet radio stations.

Can this be done with iPeng?
That particular app also had a nice feature of displaying the artists bio and lyrics of the current song.

iPeng is of course a much more polished app than that of the Windows phone.
There's no competition really. Just those features I mentioned would be nice.
