Same occurs on SB3 and Boom
I realise this is taking up quite a lot of your time for something that only seems to be my problem so don't worry if we can't resolve it and/or you want to concentrate on other things. It's just strange that it used to work and all of a sudden doesn't.Living Room: SB3 -> Musical Fidelity X-DAC V3 -> Marantz PM-66SE --> Tannoy Profile 631SE

I had to move my Squeezecenter to port 9005 on my server, because of a conflict. The Squeezeboxes in my house found it and all is well.... except iPeng cannot find the server (actually says "no player found") anymore.
I cleared the cache.
I manually inserted the ip address in the settings area, as an "additional server" just to help.
No dice.
Tried searching this thread, but mostly found stuff about remote connections, not about what I am seeing.

Maybe you could try to update to the most recent 7.4.2 build?
Running out of ideas here...
Hm. This is supposed to work.
What OS is the server running on? Could it be that port 9005 is not open in the firewall?
The Squeezeboxes don't use port 9000 so they would not notice.---

Only updated Squeezebox Server recently and that had no effect. May give it a go soon. I suspect I'll be re-installing or upgrading the server when Ubuntu comes out in April which may solve my problems. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the time you've spent on this - and a great app.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Yes, if I use the Safari browser on the iPhone, I can open my squeezecenter at 192.168.1.110:9005 no problem.
The same IP address in the "additional servers" section of iPeng doesn't help iPeng find my players or server.
I have now tried just
:9005
but that does not seem to resolve the issue.

Do I need to install something else on the Windows 7 box? Perhaps something like Bonjour? Or does ipeng use something other than http on port 9005, so I need to adjust a firewall setting?
