    Logs are in /raid/data/module/log/

I don't have experience with 7700, so cannot help you much. It strange that it says 'upgrading', if the old module was uninstalled...

ssh to thecus and check the files in /raid/data/module/log/ (SQUEEZEBOXSERVER.log and SQUEEZEBOXSERVER.log-all)

    iletunic,

The latest version of Squeezebox Server for the N5200Pro that you posted at:

    http://naswebsite.com/wiki/Thecus_N5...UEEZEBOXSERVER

has the file as a '.tar' What do I do with this? I expected a '.mod' file.

It seems that most browsers unzip it on the fly and add the tar extension, for some reason. I uploaded a zip file with the module instead. You can just gzip your already downloaded tar file, and change the extension to .mod.

    iletunic,

Gzip is not a tool I have ever used and am not familiar with it. What do you mean by 'just gzip it?' I assume you mean use gzip to decompress it and then simply change the file extension to '.mod.' Not something that gives me confidence I'll end up with a workable file.

I have a full version of WinZip 14 and see that the file I should be downloading has a '.zip' extension. I've never previously had a problem downloading a zip file.

Grateful if you would look into this to make it straightforward and thanks very much for you work in producing the module.

Just download the new zip file, and extract .mod file from it.

well...I spoke too soon...the scan terminated unexpectedly during the directory scan...and the scanner log file doesn't show me anything wrong...the scan was working perfectly with 7.5a...what could be wrong?? would a reinstallation help?
