Few more weeks to go and I'll be installing 7.3 so that I can use the Controller. Has the artwork rescan issue been resolved?

    iletunic,

Have you seen the thread about using a DVB reciever for radio?
    http://forums.slimdevices.com/showth...ighlight=dvb-t

What do you think about getting this working on an N5200?

Hi, I just upgraded to SC7.3 from Omegas 2.0.0 version and now I my SB3 doesn't 'see' my music folder which is /raid0/data/media/audio , anyone got any ideas what has changed for me or what I am doing wrong?

    cheers, David.

    Hi,

To reply to my own message, my problem was that I had NFS share enabled on my media folder and once I had removed that all was fine and SQ could 'see' my audio folder again.

I think it would be prudent to explain to the good people that NFS sharing needs to be disabled, at least until SQ has been set up, to prevent others going through the 'pulling out of hair' that I have gone through in the last 36 hours... just a thought

    cheers, David.

Having never used NFS on the N5200 I had no idea that would be a problem

There's no use trying to hide my ignorance; what is NFS and how do I disable it when I install 7.3 this weekend?

    Thanks.

As you don't know what it is, I would suspect you haven't turned it on it the first place. As I said, I've never used it and it wasn't a problem for me when installing any modules on either of my N5200Pro's

Yeah if you haven't set NFS then no need to worry about it, I use it for (faster) streaming of videos to my popcornhour media centre.

However I have a new problem now insofar as I SB3 fails at rescanning my music, the error message is as follows:
[08-11-21 14:27:20.9208] Slim::Utils::Timers::checkTimers (210) Error: Timer failed: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /raid0/data/module/SQUEEZECENTER/squeezecenter/Slim/Plugin/Rescan/Plugin.pm line 305

as usual, any help with this would be most appreciated.

    cheers, David.

Once again answering my own question... I think (hope) the fix is to edit the file /raid/data/module/SQUEEZECENTER/system/addbin/scanner.sh and replace 'nobody' with the username which has access to the music directory... thanks iletunic for the heads up.

I'm hoping all is well now but I really think an 'idiots guide' should be drafted as setting this up is certainly not the easiest thing in the world particularly if one knows nothing of unix commands.

    cheers, David.
