No solution was found before - I think it may be a faad version issue as it appeared when I switched from Andreas' module to yours.
See post#113 in this thread for a couple of links to other mentions of this issue.
I'll find a quiet track that shows the problem easily & email it to you - it's around the same level as tape hiss so isn't very noticeable on louder tracks.

Does the 7.3.1 module require uninstall/install from the N5200 module interface, or can it be untar'd and copied over the 7.3 module?

You should be able to just untar it over the old one. However, don't use the module file in that case, just download the latest perl source, and replace the contents of squeezecenter directory inside the module. You should remove the CPAN directory inside squeezecenter, update convert.conf, copy Custom.pm and fix HTTP.pm (check the wiki for details).

Hi
Would someone be kind enough to make the 7.3.1 module available for download from a place other than rapidshare...my downloads from rapidshare always timeout and I suspect this problem lies with my ISP, which will likely take a lot of cajoling on my part to have them address.
