Is the Boom the kwisatz haderach of alarm clocks? Can it now or will it someday be able to schedule alarms based on dates, such as holidays?
Also how does it handle daylight savings time? Does it just sync with the server every night at 2am?
Thanks for listening!

Its clock always comes from the server, it doesn't just merely sync. It will maintain its own time based on the last time it got from the server if the server goes down.
So if your server maintains accurate time through NTP and daylight savings time through its own programs, Boom will have the same accuracy.Current: SB2, Transporter, Boom (PQP3 - late beta, PQP1 - early beta), SBC (early beta), Squeezebox Radio (PB1 - early beta), Squeezebox Touch (late beta)
Sold: SB3, Duet
