Was it hard to do; I imagine as space is tight it's a bit of a fiddle?
No, it was easy. I just removed the shelf board and screwed the top part of the bracket to it. I also fixed the lower part of the bracket to the Boom and then I fixed this to the bracket part on the board. It was then easy to put the whole thing back to the shelf.

If you want to adjust the vertical alignment (you can shift it by about +-5cm or so) you need enough space "behind" the bracket, i.e. between the wall and the bracket, for the wrench. But I guess it would be possible to align it closely to the wall if you add the Boom as the last step.

Btw, before I had the Boom bracket I used two (slightly modified) flower box brackets. Unfortunately, no picture exists of that setup. :-)

I have my remote magnetically attached to an appliance in the kitchen as well. It's a genius master stroke! Always just where you need it (over the stove) and kept out of the way of the messy work surfaces.

    timbo's Boom

Here you go, in the living room (kitchen behind me left, then dinning and living room). The boom sound's good where it is and easily fills the area. I'll upload a photo of my Squeezebox in the Lounge later.

May-2010. Hey all... after three month's "damn I like my Squeezebox Boom"...
