Alien BBC - Many Empty Programmes

I've been running Squeeze Center 7.0 (as installed by SSODS-3.0beta13) and Alien BBC (alienbbc-linux-v2.00_7.0) for a few weeks now on a TS-109 Pro II.

It mainly works, but I'm getting a lot of programs in the listings that, when I press play, nothing happens. If I press the right arrow the Slim Server displays "Empty" as opposed to "Press right to add to favourites" as normal.

    Is anyone else experiencing this?

Search for posts about iPlayer. The BBC is transitioning radio streams to the new iPlayer menus. There's a temporary workaround including a very good search function for the new streams.
    Who am I on LAST.FM?

BBC migrated most of their Listen Again programs over to iPlayer menus. Have you installed the iPlayer Addon (V3 is latest) ?

Thanks folks. I should have spotted all the posts about iPlayer.

The Radio 4 playlist seems to take ages to load (>15 secs) using the iPlayer addon - is this to be expected?

Thanks bpa for all your help.

The current method to get iPlayer menu requires fetching web pages from BBC - the complete Radio 4 playlist has about 7 web pages so there are 7 web pages fetches and sometimes there is delay in BBC responding but at say 2 secs per page = 14 secs.

The BBC are working on a XML API which only requires one fetch and less parsing and so is quicker but at present the content is not as reliable as the web pages methods. AlienBBC will probably change over to the XML API when it is finalised and as reliable as the web pages.
