XM Radio plugin and SqueezeCenter 7.1??

I know the XM plugin had it's issues, but wondered if anyone knew if there was anyway to get it working with the new 7.1 version in testing??

As I was moving things around, I decided to update to 7.1 and see how it worked, and everything seems OK, but the XM plugin got deactivated saying it wasn't compatible with 7.1, but it worked OK with 7.0.2.

I very much enjoy listening to XM at times, and think it would be fantastic if us XM subs had the ability to listen to the music like the Sirius users do. Hard to imagine they are that different from each other, but guess they are..

It may be as simple as increasing the max version setting in the plugin. Stop Squeezecenter, navigate to the install.xml file, open in a text editor and change the value for MaxVersion to 7.* (or 7.1 if that's what you're planning to use for a while). Save, close, restart Squeezecenter. Does that sort your issue out?
    Who am I on LAST.FM?

I tried changing the XML file and it still doesn't work. It's recognized as a plug but it won't stream anything from XM.

Working fine for me. I'm listening now. Double check the install.xml I have my max set at 7.1+ I guess make sure it's the 2.0 version and in the right folder. I'm sure that's probably right as you had it working in 7.01 but worth checking.
If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use is the rule.

Thanks, this is strange all the stations, except for 26 seem to be working. When I access 26 it returns a http 401 access denied. Does this happen for you?

Yes, I get the exact same thing on 26, and always have. Not sure what the deal is with that, I was blaming it on XM, but I could be wrong. If you find a solution, let me know..

What skin(s) are you using? I can't seem to get the plugin to work in the default skin, but it works fine in classic.

default here too, and 26 doesn't work, does it work on the computer? I know they don't have rights to a lot of channels on the internet, like sports and news channels that they have the rights to by sat.

I edited the xml file in v2.0 to 7.1+ and now see all the stations in Squeezecenter and am logged on XM Radio. However I can't play any stations nor do I see XM Radio as an option on Internet Radio on my Duet. Any suggestions? I've downloaded all the latest software updates as of last night.
