Can you enable debug logging of plugin.trackstat in LMS Settings/Advanced/Logging and see if you can get any information about which files it fails on ?
Which versions of TrackStat and Custom Scan are you using ?

I'm running LMS on a Zyxel NSA 310 NAS. With it's 256 MB Ram (which also holds the OS) it seems too small to run Custom Browse. The squeezebox continuously crashes. A couple of posts are pretty clear it is too small. I have almost 800 albums, 13,5 k tracks.

In fact I mostly want CB for a composers index and a better configurable genre index. Is there another, smaller plugin that will just do this, especially the composers?

Or did you only enable it on "plugin.customscan" ?

As far as I know there is no other solution at the moment if you want a separate "Composers" menu.

There is an enhancement request which you can vote on if you like SBS/LMS to support a separate composers menu:

A few months ago I did a simple test to try to implement a simple plugin that provided a Composers menu but after looking into it I realized that I had to re-implement a lot of stuff because the Logitech query logic doesn't offer you to get a list with only composers. So it resulted in a bit too much code and too much work so I decided to not do it.

Generally I try to advice people to not try to run SBS/LMS on a NAS because neither SBS/LMS nor my plugins is optimized for usage on devices with little memory. I personally consider 512MB minimum, because 256MB might work but you can easily end up with an unstable system if you try to use a lot of third party plugins or other stuff that requires extra memory. I'm generally using 512MB on the servers I'm using for SBS or LMS and that has worked reliably in my own library, but my library is a bit smaller than yours.

If it's configure, my next question would be if you are using Custom Scan 3.0.x or 2.8.x ?
If you are using the 3.0.x (which is an alpha version) that might be the cause, as I remember I haven't gotten the time to test that properly yet. So if you are using the 3.0.x version I think I would suggest that you remove the alpha repository from the SBS Settings/Plugins page and then uninstall and reinstall Custom Scan and you should get the official 2.8.x release instead.

Let me know if any of the above solves your issues.

Yes, I installed my new server and tried to restore trackstat from backup from my old server ?

Now everythings been extremely slow for the last 30 minutes (Proliant N36L dual core 1,3 gHz ) it is not possible to play music ?

what should i do ? wait or can I do something else ?
