This arrived today and the setup was trouble free it seemed.
The first sign of trouble was no music via the controller headphone socket, followed by no music via the analogue or either digital output.
Having reset everything and repeated the setup, I got the same results.
I've noticed via the SqueezeCenter web interface that only the first few seconds of any track are being played before it restarts the track once more (the controller appears unaware of this and shows the track playing normally).
Thinking that it might be a WLAN issue i've reset once more and setup using Hybrid mode but same results again.
The Controller and Duet would seem fine as they operate as described in the manuals.
SqueezeCenter has recognised the player correctly (IP/Mac address) and responds to commands from the controller, the only apparent issue is the restarting of the track after a few seconds.
Has anyone seen SqueezeCenter behaving in the manner? I'm running 7.0.1 - 19705
I've got Softsqueeze installed on the PC that runs SequeezeCenter and that performs perfectly for what it's worth.
Thanks,

Okay — firstly, the jack on the controller isn't implemented yet.
Secondly — are you running anitvirus?
Thirdly — list your OS and networking hardware.
This will help to determine what the problem is.
The best and most efficient (an official) way to get help is to call customer service.
They will sort you out!HP MediaSmart Server EX475 > Linksys WRT54G > 4 Squeezebox Receivers

That's a pity but I can live without it ...
Yes, but I've stopped the services (and stopped ZoneAlarm as well ...)
XP SP3, wired to Netgear DG834 router/WLAN hub. I've tried standard and hybrid setup modes for the Duet and controller with similar results.
Thanks.

During the hardware beta test period for the Squeezebox Receiver I had one unit that would play 20-30 seconds of a track and then restart, play 20-30 seconds and restart, etc. It turned out to be a bad unit that I sent back, and I haven't heard from them how the post mortem went. Call or email tech support and they should take care of you.

No sound + Tracks restarting after a few seconds.
I (and a lot more users) got those symptoms with the Duet, too.
A receiver's factory reset usually solve those issues :
Hope this'll help.To do a factory reset on SqueezeboxReceiver, [press and] continue holding [the receiver's button] for a total of 6 seconds until it starts blinking fast RED. Release and after factory reset, it will start flashing slower and be ready to set up.

Glad that I'm not the only one ... however numerous resets have failed to cure it.
I've since setup an isolated network with a new server to host squeezecenter, a new router and used a wired connection to the duet (setup in bridged mode) but got precisely the same problems.
The controller is working fine with softsqueeze on a laptop connecting wirelessly to my original squeezecenter installation on my PC so I can't find any fault with the controller at least.
I've an outstanding call logged with support so hopefully they have some suggestions.
Thanks for the replies.
