When in SSOTS - status. I'm trying to click stop so that I can update slimserver - have done this previously with np. Anyway now it gives me this info and won't stop:
SqueezeCenter 7.0.1-19047 is running with PID 1008 and SqueezeCenter's MySQL is running with PID 1028.
Please can anyone advise what I need to do or if this has been addressed elsewhere point me in the right direction.

SSODS interface stop / start SC doesn't work
I've found that the SC stop / start doesn't work on the SSODS interface.
Reading the forums it looks like there are account and permission issues with the normal SSODS installation. I've tried changing the account as suggested but it seems to cause other problems.
However, I've started using putty with the following command:
[/] # ./volume1/SSODS/bin/ssctrl stop
This seems to work fine - you can obviously replace the 'stop' command with 'start' or 'restart'

Thanks for that - Did get it to top with your suggestion however after upgrading Squeezecentre I can't get it to start by any method. The locales doesn't show any options to choose in SSOTS. Not really sure what to do now

Regarding the locales i already posted something. It seems to have a problem in beta 13. I've modified the corresponding file with some code from beta11 and it works now. I could post that file in the evening.2 x Squeezebox 3 - 1 x Squeezebox Touch - SSOTS 4.14 - Squeezecenter 7.7.3 - QNAP TS439 Pro (3.6.3) - 4 x 500 GB Hitachi (RAID5)
