OK, I found out how to stop and restart the SC with a batch file. And the XM Radio Online shows up in SC under "Internet Radio." The page that is linked to that has a button to log in, but clicking on the button makes a window very quickly flash - that's it. How do you tell the plug-in what your XM id and PW are?

You have to hit the settings button in SC in the lower right corner I think. then hit plugins and find xmradio and then put in your login and password. I did mention that in my last post but should have made it more noticeable. Also as was said before this will only work in Squeezecenter and not SqueezeNetwork.

If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use is the rule.

Great! You are welcome. You can save channels to your favorites too if that helps.

XMradio plugin not working on ReadyNAS with SC 7.2

How did you guys get the XMradio plugin to work? I am using a ReadyNAS NAS appliance with SC 7.2. I tried installing the latest Plugin package 3.0 and I also tried installing the XMradio ZIPed package manually. Neither works.

    /usr/share/squeezecenter/Plugins/XMradio

    I changed the install.xml. Tried 7.2+ and 7.3+.

    <maxVersion>7.3+</maxVersion>

It looks like that it loads. I see the Plugin in SC. I can configure my user credentials and I can login. It says that it is logged in under my name. I tried my credentials directly via XM's streaming app to verify it.

The problem I am having is that when in Squeezecenter I go to Home - XMradio and then go to any of the links like Browse Presets or Browse Station I get an empty list. The same thing on the Squeezebox as well as on the WebUI. I made sure that I have a preset configured in XM's streaming app. When I go on Tune XM Station and enter a station number, the logs tell me:

[08-10-17 18:18:25.1042] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::select (250) Error: Select task failed: Can't call method "number" on an undefined value at Plugins/XMRadio/WebPages.pm line 222.

People reported that they got it working on SC 7.2 and ReadyNAS. What do I do wrong?

You have to create favorites for the xmradio stations in the format xmradio://channelnumber

The browse stations/preset/genres links in the plugin no longer work. The only thing that works is login/logout, and the code to actually play the XM.
