I posted this in the general section, but thought it might be more appropriate here. ( http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48102 )
This seems to be similar to this bug: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=7661
But I'm not sure I'm experiencing the same issue.
I have two receivers. When I sync them and play any rhapsody content, it will sometimes stop playing after a song finishes and a new one is about to start. If I manually press next it seems to temporarily fix it, but it's an incredible hassle making the entire feature useless.
Interestingly- I can listen to a single player without sync with no problems with rhapsody playlists. But when you sync, it just doesn't work well! (I have been listening to both receivers with rhapsody for the past 15 minutes no problem, just not synced.)
I originally thought it might have been a wireless issue, but now that both players are wired I have the same issue. My internet connection is plenty - 3 mbps down, so I don't think that's the issue. Additionally- when I play directly from my local library, I have no issues with sync.
PLEASE HELP!! this is the core reason I bought the duet, was for rhapsody. I bought the additional reciever thinking this would work, but it really doesn't!
Here's the info:

Sounds like it could be it. What should I download to test this fix?

I just fixed it and it is rolling out to SN... give it a try in about
an hour or so.

Seriously man, do you sleep? :-P
Thanks- I'll test it next chance I get. What should I do? Check for updates? Do I need to connect to squeezenetwork, or will it work connected to squeeze center? What revision am I looking to obtain?

On SN, you don't have to do anything except wait for the fix to get
rolled out (1 hour).
For SC, you will need to svn update or wait for tonight's nightly build.

Half luck connected to squeezenetwork.
Here's the symptoms:
Playing a rhapsody channel it gets to the end of a song and you watch the time-left indicator, as it goes -0:03... -0:02... -0:01.. -0:00 .. -59:59.. -59:58 .. - 59:57
if you wait a few more seconds, the album art dissapears. The title of the song does not change, but the counter will reset. Album art dissapears and it starts the count from 0 again. Nothing plays during this time, but it appears as if it's trying to replay the same song. After it reaches 0:29 into the silent repeat song, it resets to 0 seconds again. This repeats over and over.
Clicking next plays a new song correctly and sync'd. But stops at the end and does the same thing.
Now for the half luck part - not sure if this is from the fix, but playing rhapsody playlists does work now.. so maybe that's fixed (Although I'm not sure I tested this feature completely recently). But rhapsody channels are not working properly.Last edited by FredFredrickson; 2008-05-26 at 10:56.

OK this sounds right, I found another bug when playing synced Rhapsody
channels only. I'm glad to hear non-channel playback is working fine
for you.
I will try to fix the channel problem tomorrow.
