Hello,
I've just managed to install SSODS & SqueezeCenter on my Syno 107+ & would like to install these 2 plugins :
- Songscanner, which doesn't seem to be available for download anymore, don't know why, though I have a copy compatible with SC7 (if I didn't make any mistake,
- Lazysearch.
BTW I'd like to thank fliflip for his great work on SSODS, it's been very helpfull and easy to install, which is great because my Linux experience is very close to nothing.
That's why I'm asking a litlle help for the plugins, I've read some info in the wiki pages for the install of Linux version & on Flipflip website,
So it seems I just have to copy the unzipped folder of the plugins in the right directory which should be something like :
/volume1/SqueezeCenter/Plugins
So the basic noob question is how do I do that ?

Ok I can see the SqueezeCenter folder & all it's subfolders from windows explorer now, but have no write access so far.
I've made changes in the DSManager for the SqueezeCenter folder to be accessed from the defaut "user" group (admin & guess).
So it shoudn't be too far from a solution now.

Now it's working : I just made that both "admin" login exactly match (in winXP & DSM Syno) & a reboot just in case.
Gonna test the plugs with the remote now.Last edited by stof77; 2008-05-22 at 04:26.

Both plugins should work. You need to drop the files in the right folder. The path you indicated is only valid on the DS itself, i.e. when you're logged in via telnet or ssh. From external, the path would be something like \\diskstation\SqueezeCenter\Plugins and ftp://diskstation:/SqueezeCenter/Plugins, depending on how you connect (Windows network drive and FTP, respectively). Note that you absolutely *must* connect as user admin und that you must add the corresponding access permissions (read+write) to admin, too (in the DiskStation Manager).
You might find the "File Station" (probably needs to be enabled somewhere in the DiskStation Manager).
See http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods_faq for further hints.
P.S. In SqueezeCenter 7.1 something like the SongScanner is included (press+hold next to access it).Check out flipflip's Squeezebox Server On (some) DiskStation (SSODS) and on (some) TurboStations (SSOTS) and some other devices! Please do NOT file SSODS bugs in (SD's) bugzilla. Use the forums. And only the forums. Thanks.
