scanner.exe from SqueezeCenter-7.1-19545.exe does no scan at all
No output in scanner.log (with debug option enabled) and no errors in server.log
If I take scanner.exe from SqueezeCenter-7.0.1-19522.exe it is possible to make a scan of my music library
The following is from 7.1 19545
C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter\server>scanner.exe --help
The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with SqueezeCenter:
Net:NS (loaded <not found>, need 0.58)
To fix this problem you have several options:
1. Install the latest version of the module(s) using CPAN: sudo cpan Some::Modul
e
2. Update the module's package using apt-get, yum, etc.
3. Run the .tar.gz version of SqueezeCenter which includes all required CPAN mod
ules.
Is there a "problem" with 7.1 scanner.exe ?

Hi,
had the same problem and fixed it as well with the other scanner version.
It's running now. Funny enough, on my NAS (SSODS), the scanning was doing OK with the same build from tonight, but did not get my playlist right. I can see it, but when you click on it, it's empty...
However, thanks for you fix....
Best regards

I got the....
...playlist sorted out. I was using a PC based list and the SSODS could not handle it.

Same issue here - you can either replace the scanner executable from a previous version or browse your entire music library by folder and add ALL your songs to the playlist - this will force it to scan your library.
