    Automatic ripping

    Hi,

I thought I read a post regarding this a while ago but have been unable
to find it in the archives (not easy without a search option!). Anyway,
does anyone know a method for use in Windows whereby I can have EAC
automatically launch and/or start ripping when I insert a CD? The
reason being is that I have an XP box that I use as my dedicated
'SlimServer' - and as such is hidden away in a cupboard without a
monitor/mouse/keyboard permanently attached - and it would be nice to be
able to simply place a new CD to rip in the drawer, close it, and then
have it spit it out again when done. Then all I would need to do is
trigger a rescan/navigate to the folder using the Slimpy's remote and
the CD would be ready to play. At present, I have to rip from my PC
upstairs across the network onto my SlimServer, which means powering up
the PC if required (not to mention having to go all the way upstairs!).
This was also make adding new CD's much more spouse-friendly!

    TIA,

    Matt, UK.

MessageDon't know about EAC, but you can definitely do it with Audiograbber (i've ripped 21000+ tracks with it)
