Dear All,
is there anyway to have multiple users on the webaccess?
would like a way so that one person on one machine access the webpage, but not the settings...
and me with an Admin account, go in and change the settings?
I did search the forum using 'multiple users' in the search string, but it didn't turn anything up....
Hope someone can help or point me in the right direction..
Regards
Paul.

Not really, people have talked about adding user accounts to SC for a while but nothing has ever come of it (that I'm aware of).

Was just thinking (as I do things like that), if the webaccess is just html? I think....
and I'm not that covert with html, but wouldn't it be easy having a front end login, that redirected to another html page, but without the 'settings' icon on?

This was my question, too, and it looks like the answer is "no." I've pretty much been monopolizing my SB, but now my wife has seen the benefit of using it and we wanted to set it up in such a way that her music folders could be seen separately from mine (much like it works in iTunes). But I take it that this isn't possible?
If so, are there any other options that come close to doing what I'm looking to do. I suppose she could just tag all of her files as her "favorites" and orgaize them like that, but I was hoping there was a better way. Any suggestions?

The CustomBrowse plugin can do what you want:
