I have a Thecus N4100+ and I run Slimserver 6.3.1 module directly on it. Is there any way of either (a) Using a later version (such as 6.5.4) on the Thecus? If not, is there any way of disabling specific file extensions using 6.3.1 when scanning? This is the function I miss most using an old version of 6.3.1.
Any help on this matter would be great. I have to use SqueezeCenter 7 on my mac right now in order to filter by extension, and I don't like losing sound every time I reboot so I would rather run the server software on the Thecus.
Thank you forum!
Daniel
I downloaded the Thecus module with 6.3.1 from here: (http://www.savefile.com/projects/808561707)

You should ask over on the Thecus User group - http://thecususergroup.proboards106.com/index.cgi
The official repositry for Thecus modules - http://www.onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/Main_Page
To get a newer version someone will need to create the module and perhaps slightly customise the SqueezeCetner code to get it working. I'm really not sure what all is involved to be honest.

Thank you
Thanks! I will check it out but it appears that what I am looking for does not exist.
