HI,
I was going through the wiki for EAC, this page escpeccially:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?EACInstall
and I am confused because the wiki describes separate downloads for the FLAC, AccurateRip and EAC: (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?EACBeginners)as well as copying dll's and stuff like that. My download of EAC beta seems to have everything it it already: FLAC and AccurateRIP. Am I missing something? Am I good to go ? By the way, I am using the latest beta of EAC (.99 preBeta-4).
If I need to download separately, I am in trouble because I could not find a download for AccurateRip on the site nor could I be sure that at sourceforge.net I was getting the advised "tools" only version of FLAC.
Thanks,
B

The wiki is for the old version of EAC, which was a real pain to install. The latest is dead easy to install and configure, as you seem to have found out

What you might want to do is get the latest version of FLAC, but it's not essential.SB3 just a wifi bridge and clock now :)

Thanks!
Assuming that the latest beta of EAC that I installed does not have the latest FLAC, how would I upgrade the FLAC part of EAC ?
Thanks,

Just download and extract flac somewhere handy for you, and in the EAC compression options point it to the flac.exe file of your latest version (assuming you're on Windows)
SB3 just a wifi bridge and clock now :)
