Depends what you mean by "handle". It will accept and play the files, but they are downsampled to 48kHz. This holds for the internal DAC as well as the digital output.
Edit: I didn't notice the "modded" part. In that case I don't know. But I've never heard anyone doing it. I suspect it can't as such. Or it would require a new cpu etc. In other words basically building a new SB3. But as I said I'm just guessing.Last edited by bhaagensen; 2009-01-08 at 14:58.

You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
