Slim server on W2000 server pegging CPU

Thanks for the help, but I solved this late last night after dong more
looking around the forum archive. I saw something about having iTunes
running on the same PC. Once I uninstalled iTunes, SlimServer started
working perfectly. Not only is the service staying up not matter what
and songs are playing all the way through, but all of this at 2-3% CPU
utilization. Now that is more like it!

    Thanks for a great product.

Have you tried a recent nightly build? There have been several optimisations
with iTunes and artwork that should greatly reduce the overhead while running
iTunes and Slimserver at the same time. If you are not keen on installing dev
builds, then look for these improvements in 5.1.1 when it is released
