I created a tape of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean over and over for the full tape. Yes, that was 25 years ago.

Seconded for Dig Lazarus Dig!!! - best new album I've heard in a while.

However, on the original topic: Let Go by Frou Frou or Ordinary People by John Legend.

"Resurrection Fern" by Iron & Wine. I love it, but can't really figure out what he's talking about. I guess that's part of its charm.

ptrainer's original premise was about random shuffle leading to a desire to repeat a track....

Do you really get that from a random shuffle? The "choices" that come out of a random shuffle leave me numb. I dont think Ive ever repeated something that I didnt choose myself.

Interesting point - I don't use random shuffle at all. I do use MusicIP a lot though, and it's always bringing up things I haven't thought of listening too for ages, but end up really enjoying.

Yes, I was using random shuffle, but it could also be just when you play an album and forgot how good a particular song was until hearing it. I tend to get a lot of cool songs on random for some reason. I guess my Squeezebox just knows me :-)

I have to listen to that several times too. Also "Running Up That Hill," "Babooshka" and "There Goes A Tenner."

Oh Yes, I love all of those songs.......
Generally, all of the Kate Bush "extended mixes" are to die for.....
And the regular songs are almost there too....
