    The ones behind the TV are the tidiest - but that's only because the trolley is mobile.

    All the cables are in some way connected to the hi-fi ....

    What's with the aluminum foil wrapped around some of the cables? Is that some sort of Audiophile Tweek?

    Just a simple experiment to see if the mains cables benefited from some shielding

    I have had a rats nest for many mamy years now.
    Xbox, Amp, media centre, squeeze box, router, NAS, satallite ...... :-(

    I just refurbed the living room and ran a ton of cable under the floor into the cloakroom room cupboard where put everything bar the TV and a media centre so the only thing I have behind the TV cab is a couple HDMI, TOS and a couple speaker pAIRS and a couple of cat 5! .....which is wife loving. Cable tidy heaven versus the previous version.

    Best discovery: Click releasable tie-wraps from Maplin. :-)

    I found, for me, it made an audible improvement, I then earthed the shield and it improved things more, so, mains cables are on my tweeking list, to sort

    Mine is no better - I guess the wireless home is just as likely as the paperless office.....lol
