I am trying to get my SB3 to control my amplifier and have tried to teach it codes with no luck. The amplifer is a Cambridge Audio 740A and the nice people there sent me the codes:
The codeset is very similar to the 640 set and are follows;

Unfortunately, I don't know what to do with these to turn them into a .conf file. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Thanks. I looked at that, but I was completely stumped as to how to transfer the file into the plug-in folder. If you could explain to me in simple steps, that would be great. I stopped programming with the old BBC computer!

Copy and paste from here:

to an empty text file and rename Cambridge.conf or similar.
Move the Cambridge.conf file into the Plugins\IRBlaster directory and restart server.
The settings page is under Players tab you will need to give the path to the IRBlaster Directory, then use the drop down menus to choose the actions required.
Note the player needs to be awake to work.
