The majority of the time when I rescan my music library from "Clear Library and recan everything" the scanning stops while performing "Merge Various Artists" and album artwork is not displayed in SqeezeCenter. Also, it seems to take a long time to perform the scan, >20-25 minutes for ~5,500 tracks and ~430 albums.
Occasionally, the scan will go on to scan album artwork (~1 out of 15-20 scans). In this case the album will display in SqueezeCenter.
I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium on a Sony desktop computer running the nightly build of 7.0. Also I'm using my iTunes library and iTunes music folder.
Any thoughts on what to correct would be great.

Not sure if you're still awaiting a reply, but I'd suggest 1) upgrading your version to the just released official 7.0 version of SqueezeCenter, 2) checking the name(s) and format(s) of your cover art, and 3) renaming the cover art files or using the "Artwork" text box under Settings->Advanced->Formatting to find all your album art.
Laters.

Thanks for the suggestions, but I have tried all of these ideas. What is strange to me is the library scan usually stops while "Merge Various Artists" is being performed. Everything seems to function fine except displaying artwork.
After loading the released version of 7.0, the artwork for albums displays under the "now playing window" (ie. the right half of the window) and doesn't display of the left half of the window when browsing albums.
