Can anyone get this stream, and if so, can you give me at least some idea what I am doing wrong??? It is at WWW.KKSF.COM, and they give you a specialized player for the computer, but getting it to slimserver etc just doesn't seem to work for me.
Thanks,

Try this link

Just be sure to put http:// in front of the above listed url
I pasted this into the Tune In block is SC7 and it work straight away.
It should also work in SC6.5
They are running it from a flash player so getting the stream address can sometime be a little dificult

Many thanks, but
Thank you for the information, and the URL. Unfortunately, as I just found out, if I put this in a playlist in slimserver, it works just great. However, if I put it in squeezenetwork, it tells me that it cannot open the remote - which is a little bit disturbing...
What are the suggestions now? Switching to SC7 or what??? It does appear that something in SqueezeNetwork is broken.
And how do I switch to SC7?

Mike
As i have a server running 24/7 at home i do not use SqueezeNetwork. But I just logged on from work and I am having problems with my softsqueeze player connecting to the beta site.
I have a copy of SS6.5 running on a second computer at home and will try that this evening.
I am running SC7 at home and at work and find that it is much nicer to use.
If you want to switch you can go to the beta and pre-release download page http://www.slimdevices.com/dev_nightly.html and download SC7. And although it is not official yet it should be fairly soon, and will be required if you were to purchase a new Duet system or a Controler.

Mike,
I have not been able to get the KKSF stream running thru SqueezeNetwork as well. I also tried another stream froma local station here that will not run through SqueezeNetwork.
What it did find is that both streams

if put in IE or Firefox they will open Windows Media player. Media player then shows them as Windows Media Audio 9 32 kbps, 44 kHz, stereo 1-pass CBR.
I thought Squeeze Network was supposed to be able to play Windows Media files but maybe not.
May be there is someone else more in the know that can help on this matter.
