Information Browser - information has stopped appearing

The interesting stuff in Information Browser is not there anymore.

I don't know whether this is due to the latest nightly breaking it or if it's something I've triggered, as I've recently installed a new IB addon and re-ordered the menus via the SC7 web UI.

However, with r1879 the screens that should show the content of any forum post or news article I select are devoid of the text of the article requested. This is only applicable to the Controller. I can read the post/article requested via the SC7 web ui.

For instance:
I can read this article via the web ui:
Home > Information Browser > Slashdot > Science Debate 2008
But if viewed in the Controller there is no content.

Have you got a player selected on the controller? There is a limitation at present which means you need a player selected which exists.

I've been seeing the same thing, with a player selected at the time.
Fairly sure it existed also at the time as the player was scrolling
rss feeds at the time.

I'm 99.9% certain I had a player selected at the time, at the time.

Since posting this I've updated my SC7 and jive firmware but still the screen showing the content of any news article or post remains blank. Is there any way I can rectify this (without reinstalling the Information Browser applets)?

eventually, perhaps. not everyone uses it. not everyone updates daily.
