    DNS for slimdevices.com

I've been having problems sending mail to the developers list occasionally.
Ever now and again messages take hours to get there.

I'm experiencing this problem now (13:25 GMT) and have investigated. It
appears the DNS servers for slimdevices.com aren't answering hence mail is
sitting on my SMTP server. I can't access anything @slimdevices.com (mailing
    lists, website or cvs).

I looked up the address of lists.slimdevices.com in an email header and
found it to be 64.72.158.52. I've tried pinging it and get nothing. I can
    ping 64.72.158.1.

I can access the rest of the internet fine and ping your subnet so I don't
think it's an issue with my ISP. This generally happens when you're all away
from work so I'd guess it may something shutting down when idle. I only
    notice due to timezone differences...

Slimdevices may want to check all is well with their setup.

    Re: DNS for slimdevices.com

Thanks. Sean replaced the motherboard on our main web server that's
also our DNS server. We'll be doing some work to make the system a
    little more resilient.
