Finding URL for internet radio stations

I'm trying to add a few internet radio stations in Squeezenetwork "favorites" but I can never get the proper URL(asx, playlist, etc) A couple of addresses I tried have worked but most don't. Is there a trick to this? Here's an example of a station I'd like to add:
    http://www.radiojazz.ch/RJANG/ENTERANG.html

There are lots of techniques but an app which helps some people is URL snooper.

    http://www.donationcoder.com/Softwar...er/urlsnooper/

By looking at the WMP URL in the livepage
    http://statslive.infomaniak.ch/~radi...ojazz-high.php
the following URL in the ASX.
    http://broadcast.infomaniak.net/radiojazz-high.mp3

Alternatively - look up a directory such as
    http://www.listenlive.eu/switzerland.html

Thanks bpa. Great little app but it appears some stations have the stream hidden where it can't be detected.

As bpa stated, the URL for this web station is http://broadcast.infomaniak.ch/radiojazz-high.mp3.

This (as with all winamp streams) can be found by saving the PLS file to your computer and opening it with a text file editor. http://www.radiojazz.ch/RJANG/radioj...yer%5B1%5D.htm is your entry point to this particular PLS file.

Same problem for me that started this morning.

I used to lookup the page source on the "listen now" page for my favorite radio station (www.chom.com) because once in a while the URL would get updated. I would then have to update my playlist on my slimserver and the favorites on my Squeezenetwork account.

They modified the website overnight and there doesn't seem to be a URL (either ASX or WMA) in the page source. Their FAQ says this:

"we are updating our streams to use the latest macromedia flash player... now you can only connect to our streams from the websites and not directly using your Windows Media Player program."

I've written to them but... if they're still sending HTTP back to the browser (I ran a packet capture), can't the Slimserver/Squeezebox be the requester instead of my Firefox browser on the PC?

Perhaps I need more coffee... the radio station sounds like junk coming across the computer speakers instead of the stereo.

It sounds like the station have changed over to Flash Player - which still uses http but with a different transport mechanism to transfer the data and encrypts the stream and typically use a different audio format.

Stations change over to require users to use the Web site and view the ads etc.
